Monaco – October 17, 2024

The inaugural edition of the World Yachting Summit (WYS) will be held in Monaco from 15 to 17 April 2025, in the enchanting setting of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.

The event constitutes an international convergence platform that will gather the main industry key players and participants to discuss major challenges related to the future of yachting and nurture action plans. Three days of networking showroom, social events, plenary conferences and parallel sessions covering four major themes: Business Perspectives — Changing Paradigms; Tourism & Yachting — Recipes for success; Technological Advances — The Road to Net-Zero; Challenges Ahead — Reinventing Yachting.

The goal is to provide a solid base of discussion, interaction and inspiration which aims to support the development of yachting worldwide, with a particular focus on business evolution and practices, emerging markets and new destinations, as well as the adoption of technological solutions for a more performing and cleaner future in an ever-changing global nautical market.

The World Yachting Summit has already outlined its agenda for the first two international editions which will alternate between Monaco (April 2025) and Dubai (Spring 2026). See the full editorial agenda for the first two years here.

« A key feature of WYS is the open nature of its program overseen by the editorial team. Participants are invited to submit proposals that can be incorporated into the program as keynotes, case studies or round tables » – explains Laurent Perignon, WYS Development & Content. The World Yachting Summit also demonstrates a strong commitment to expansion and international vocation, aiming to involve new geographical areas in future editions, starting with Dubai in 2026. This openness will not only enrich the event with a diversity of cultures and perspectives but will also provide unique opportunities for attendees to network with industry leaders and explore emerging markets.

The launch of WYS in Monaco, known as the Capital of Advanced Yachting, before moving on to Dubai, is the result of two strategic partnership agreements signed with Monaco Marina Management (M3), a Monaco-based marina consulting services company, and OMNIYAT, a leading Dubai-based luxury real estate developer.

« OMNIYAT’s partnership with the World Yachting Summit reflects its commitment to connecting luxury living with innovation and environmental responsibility, » says Madhi Amjad, Chairman of OMNIYAT. As a developer known for creating iconic, high-end spaces, OMNIYAT views yachting as a natural extension of the refined lifestyle it promotes. This partnership reinforces OMNIYAT’s belief in balancing luxury with responsibility, ensuring that the beauty of the oceans is protected for future generations while continuing to create exceptional living experiences.

Monaco Marina Management’s ambition is to help clients & authorities create or transform marinas into nautical lifestyle centers, combining performance, aesthetics and sustainability, at the service of the surrounding communities and for the promotion of yachting destinations. Following the success of the 4th Smart Marina Initiative, M3 decided to take on the opportunity of supporting the World Yachting Summit, as José Marco Casellini, CEO of Monaco Marina Management points out: « We are convinced that it is through exchanges and meetings that the ideas shaping the future of our industry will emerge. We all have a role to play, and by working together, sharing our knowledge and taking action, we can steer the industry in the right direction. »

More than another annual yachting event, the World Yachting Summit is a strategic platform for companies willing to act for a positive-impact industry, grow, innovate and succeed in the competitive world of yachting, while increasing their visibility and strengthening their presence on the market. Companies can leverage significant benefits through high-level networking, international promotion, active participation in conferences and cross-sector knowledge sharing.
