TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Effective as of November 1st, 2024

ARTICLE 1 – SCOPE OF APPLICATION

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “T&Cs”) apply to all sales concluded on the website https://worldyachtingsummit.com/ (hereinafter “the Site”), between:

Hereinafter referred to as “the Seller”

And

Any natural or legal person making a purchase through the Site, hereinafter referred to as “the Buyer” or “the Participant“.

 

ARTICLE 2 – PURPOSE

These T&Cs define the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the sale of tickets and services offered by the Seller on the Site, including:

  • Entry tickets for the World Yachting Summit
  • Conference and workshop registrations
  • Additional services (accommodation, catering, etc.)
  • Any other product or service offered on the Site

 

ARTICLE 3 – PRICING

3.1. Prices are indicated in euros and include all taxes (VAT included).

3.2. The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time, with the understanding that products and services will be charged based on the rates in effect at the time of order confirmation.

3.3. Rates include registration processing and management fees.

 

ARTICLE 4 – ORDER AND VALIDATION

4.1. To place an order, the Customer follows the online purchase process including the following steps:

  • Selection of products/services
  • Shopping cart validation
  • Account identification/creation
  • Billing information validation
  • Payment method selection
  • Final confirmation and payment

4.2. The order becomes final only after:

  • Acceptance of these T&Cs
  • Order confirmation by the Customer
  • Payment validation

 

ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT

5.1. Two payment methods are available:

A. Bank Transfer

Please use the following banking details:

Reference: Please include your order number

B. Credit Card

Credit card payments are processed securely through Société Générale’s payment system.
Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express

5.2. For bank transfers, your registration will be confirmed once the payment has been received in our account. Please allow 2-3 business days for international transfers.

5.3. For credit card payments, confirmation is immediate upon successful transaction.

5.4. All payments must be made in Euros (€).

5.5. An invoice will be automatically generated and sent to the email address provided during registration.

 

ARTICLE 6 – CONFIRMATION AND TICKETS

6.1. An order confirmation is sent by email to the address provided by the Customer.

6.2. Electronic tickets/registration confirmations are sent to the Customer’s email address after payment validation.

 

ARTICLE 7 – CANCELLATION AND REFUND

7.1. Right of withdrawal:
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, event tickets are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.

7.2. Cancellation conditions:

  • 0% if cancellation occurs within the legal withdrawal period of 14 days from the date of sending the exhibitor participation contract.
  • 50% if cancellation occurs before February 15, 2025: the deposit will be retained.
  • 100% if cancellation occurs less than two months before the first day of the event.

7.3. In case of event cancellation by the organizer:

  • Full refund of tickets
  • Or postponement to a later date depending on circumstances

 

ARTICLE 8 – LIABILITY

8.1. The Seller cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the execution of these T&Cs.

8.2. The Seller’s liability shall not be engaged in case of force majeure as defined by jurisprudence.

 

ARTICLE 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

9.1. All elements of the Site and the event are protected by intellectual property rights.

9.2. The purchase of a ticket does not confer any intellectual property rights.

 

ARTICLE 10 – PERSONAL DATA

10.1. Collected data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR.

10.2. The Customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data.

 

ARTICLE 11 – DISPUTE AND APPLICABLE LAW

11.1. These T&Cs are subject to French law.

11.2. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.

11.3. Failing this, the courts of Monaco shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
