REGISTRATION
I'd like to register my participation to the WYS in Monaco as a Visitor: how do I proceed ?
If you intend to be only a visitor, you can register individually online. Once you have filled in all the details and submitted the form, you will receive a link to select your options and pay through our payment module using a credit card. You will also be able to make a wire transfer, with our IBAN provided when selecting that payment option. You will receive an invoice once payment has been received.
I'd like to register my participation to the WYS in Monaco on behalf of my company: how do I proceed ?
If you intend to register on behalf of a company, you can fill in the form on the Participate page and send your request: the WYS team will contact you and share a link to a form to fill in the details of your company participation, which include the number of people joining and the options selected (such as lunches). Once you receive the contract to be signed on behalf of your company, payment is by wire transfer. You will receive an invoice once payment has been received.
The initial form includes billing information and details of the persons expected to attend to be completed before submission. It will however be possible to change the names of participants prior to the event.
When I fill in the details of who the WYS participants from my company are going to be, are they automatically registered with Monte Carlo Bay hotel ?
No, they are not. The hotel reservation platform is independent from WYS. It is up to you to register the relevant information separately for both WYS participation and Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort reservation, even if it is for the same persons.
Can the list of names provided for participation in WYS be modified ?
Yes it is possible to be flexible on who attends what — as long as the selected representatives from your company are duly registered. Anyone who is not registered on the attendee list will not be admitted. Please note however that there is no possibility to change the names of guests registered at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.
Can I register for a Full Pack for two persons but have three persons from my company taking turns as long as there's never more than two persons taking part ?
Yes it is possible to be flexible on who attends what on a daily basis — as long as the selected representatives from your company are duly registered for each day. Anyone who is not registered on the attendee list will not be admitted. Please note that your company will be charged Additional Delegate Packs if three or more persons from the same company intend to enter the event any one day it takes place.
Can I register for a Full Pack for two persons with three persons taking turns during the day ?
No it is not possible to take turns during the day. For example, if a representative from your company is registered to attend Tuesday and Thursday but needs to be replaced for Wednesday, this is fine, as long as the second representative has been duly registered too, for the day he/she is meant to attend. Anyone who is not registered on the attendee list will not be admitted. Please note that your company will be charged Additional Delegate Packs if three or more persons from the same company intend to enter the event any one day it takes place.
How do I register more than two persons from my company to attend ?
You will need to buy Additional Delegate Packs. These are for additional representatives from companies already registered with WYS (either with Full Packs or Partner Packs). They are for extra attendees from the same company who intend to take part in WYS over the entire three days of the event, including social events in the evening. Priced at 3,600€ for each person (excl. VAT), they offer the same benefits than Full Packs. These are also relevant to provide you with an additional speaking opportunity and take part in the social events.

Can I register additional representatives from my company "last minute" ?
In principle, it is possible to register Additional Delegates « last minute ». But it may not be the best option. Additional Delegate Packs are for additional representatives from companies already registered with WYS (either with Full Packs or Partner Packs). They are for extra attendees from the same company who intend to take part in WYS over the entire three days of the event, including social events in the evening.
However, keep in mind that Additional Delegates will not be able to attend the Gala Dinner and may not be able to register for the other social events if guest lists are closed after full capacity has been reached. In addition, « last minute » is likely to be too late to change the set-up and increase your networking space and/or provide you with an additional speaking opportunity.
We therefore recommend that you check with the WYS team first, as it may be more practical and economical to go for simple Delegate Packs, or even daily Delegate passes.
Can I register as a WYS Visitor "last minute" or on site the day(s) of the event?
In principle, it is possible to register and pay for your pass as a Visitor « last minute » on site. However, it is unlikely that it may be possible due to limited availability and registration processing. We therefore highly recommend you to register ahead of the event to avoid being disappointed.
EDITORIAL CONTENT
I see that there are many topics proposed in WYS editorial agenda. How is it possible to delve into all these topics over three days ?
The four main themes and sub-sections are to be dealt with over two editions, in Monaco 2025 and Dubai in 2026, if not further beyond. The wide range of topics proposed is to be shortened to the ones that are deemed most relevant by the companies that take part in the sessions, whether these are keynote presentations, roundtables, plenary sessions, fireside chats or workshops.
Who makes the final selection of topics covered in the editorial agenda ?
It is partly a collaborative effort. It combines topics selected by the editorial team, especially when involving speakers from outside the yachting industries and sectors, and those chosen by the participating companies in the list of topics, based on their background, business sector and expertise.
How many participants are expected per session ?
It will be variable. Because participants will have to indicate which sessions they are registering for between one month before up to one week before WYS, the WYS team will adjust the setup based on expected turnout per session.
How do I select the topic I'm interested in discussing further as my speaking opportunity ?
After you’ve registered as a company, you will have to fill in a form with further details to be provided. Among such details, you will have to tick a minimum of two and a maximum of five topics you feel you are relevant to talk about. The WYS editorial team will then build part of the agenda based on the selected topics by all participants, to complement some of the topics where the WYS team has established a line-up of speakers, especially those from outside the yachting industry who take part to offer different perspectives.
Who decides on the format of speaking opportunities?
Depending on the number of speakers who have indicated their interest for the proposed topics, the participation / presentation may end up being a case study, a roundtable with various speakers involved, a fireside chat or workshop with moderators, a keynote for a small group of attendees or a plenary session, with or without the presence of a moderator.
As a participant, when do I decide which sessions I'm interested in attending?
Once the editorial agenda is completed, approximately one month before the event, it will be released in full to all registered participants so that you can decide which tracks and sessions you register for — except for plenary sessions of course. For practical reasons of logistics and organization you will have to indicate all of such sessions, but it is up to you to select them according to your preferences, keeping in mind that you cannot, for obvious reasons, register for two sessions that take place at the same time. You will receive your personal itinerary once everything has been scheduled.
Can I be the Speaker for my company and attend all conferences ?
If you’re the Speaker for your company, you will be advised of your day and time slot by the time the editorial agenda is finalized, approximately one month before WYS — which means that you cannot obviously attend a parallel session at the same time. But you will be able to select and attend any other session, as long as you make sure that there is no overlap. You will receive your personal itinerary once everything has been scheduled.
If I am the Speaker for my company, what do I need to prepare ?
If you’re registered as the Speaker for your company, you will be advised of your day and time slot by the time the editorial agenda is finalized, as well as the actual topic you are to delve into, approximately one month before WYS. At that time you will also be informed of the format of your intervention, whether it is a keynote, a roundtable, a fireside chat or a workshop. Depending on the format, you may or may not need to prepare a presentation. If you are asked for one, you will be given instructions to put together a PowerPoint dealing with the topic selected, which could either be a single slide to illustrate key points, up to a full 20-minute keynote. All presentations will have to be completed one week prior to the event, so as to be reviewed and integrated by the WYS editorial team into the final schedule.
NETWORKING SPACE
What do I need to supply for my networking space ?
Once your company has been registered, you will be given indications on what WYS requires from you to set-up your private networking space. Typically we will need your company logo and some visuals. Nothing too complicated as the space is standardized for all.
What do I need to supply for my networking space if my company is a WYS partner or I have registered for more than one Full Pack so as to have additional presence ?
Once your company has been registered, you will be given indications on what WYS requires from you to set-up your private networking space, whichever the size. Typically we will need your company logo and some visuals. Nothing too complicated, even in a larger space.
Can I book an empty space and decorate it as I want?
This is not possible with standard Full Packs. The only exception may be for WYS Partners who are provided with a different set-up as a result of their high participation fees. However, even in such instances, any custom made space will have to set up in coordination with WYS Operations team, and validated prior to installation at your own cost.
Can I have a TV set to display videos in my space ?
You will not be allowed to hang a TV on the walls, which limits the possibility to use one unless you bring your own and place it on your desk / counter. You may also rent a TV placed on a pedestal – in which case you need to contact the WYS team to enquire further. However, please note that we do not allow any loud sound or music to be heard so as to avoid any uncomfortable situations. As a result, if you do want to showcase videos, these will have to be on silent mode. This is why we recommend that you do not bring or rent any TV, but prefer the use of a tablet to show your films.
Can I play music in my space ?
Please note that we do not allow any loud sound or music to be heard so as to avoid any uncomfortable situations. As a result, if you do want to play music somehow, we recommend that you bring (virtual reality) headsets so as not to disturb your neighbors. Be aware as well that playing music could be subjected to license rights and fees you are responsible for.
If I man the networking space, how can I attend some of the conferences ?
Technically, you can’t. However, this is why we’re selling Full Packs for two persons. You and your colleague can take turns to attend conferences and man the stand. Of course, you can also buy Additional Delegate Packs if there are too many sessions your company is interested in attending or being involved with as a Speaker, and two persons are not enough to handle your presence at the event.
When everyone attends the conferences, will the networking showroom area be empty ?
This is very unlikely, since the agenda is built so as to allow multiple break-out sessions with no overlaps in order to have a good flow of people in between the various spaces and moments, yet without making the common areas too busy at once — except when leaving plenary sessions. This is also the interest in having multiple tracks and parallel sessions.
Can I sell products or services within my space ?
You are not allowed to sell any of your products and services on location throughout the duration of the event. WYS is not a commercial show. Besides, the rules and regulations applicable in Monaco and at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort for such events prevent you from having the right to do so.
Can I showcase different brands within my space ?
You can only showcase different brands if you are an official distributor of a range of products from different brands, which you will have to justify. You cannot share your space for co-exhibition with other brands you do not represent.
ACCOMMODATION
When I register for WYS, do I have to book a hotel room at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort ?
Maybe you live in Monaco or in the surrounding area, and therefore you will not have to book a hotel during the event. Then, although there is no obligation to stay at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, we recommend that you do: not only because it will be most practical for you throughout the event, but also because we bring you WYS special rates that will be hard to beat for any other hotel of similar standards in the area.
After I have registered, either as an individual participant or as a company, how do I benefit from the Special WYS accommodation rates at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort ?
Once registered and payment for participation in WYS has been received, you will be sent an email with a unique link and password for the hotel reservation platform where you can select the number and type of rooms, the number of nights (minimum 2) and dates of your presence. Payment is by credit card. Please note that all rooms booked under WYS that benefit from the WYS special rate are non-refundable in case of no show, and that you will have to indicate the number of guests per room (single or double) in order to manage the logistics of breakfasts.
When I book a hotel room at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort under WYS, do I need to advise who the hotel guests are going to be ?
If booking multiple rooms on behalf of your company, there must be one person in charge of managing the reservation and payments, even if there are other members of staff coming to WYS — whose names do not have to be filled in yet. Once the rooms are booked, you have to process payment by 15th January 2025 in order to benefit from our WYS special rates. Please note that all rooms booked under WYS that benefit from the WYS special rate are non-refundable in case of no show, and that you will have to indicate the number of guests per room (single or double) in order to manage the logistics of breakfasts.
When I indicate who the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort guests are going to be, are they automatically registered with WYS ?

Can the list of names provided for accommodation at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort be modified ?
Yes and no. Although there may be the rare occurrence when one of the expected registered WYS guests has been replaced due to a special situation duly documented (an illness for example), those listed as WYS residents are expected to turn up, in particular the person who has handled the booking on behalf of the company. If you’re facing problems with your reservation, you can contact the WYS team to help address any special situation. Please note that all guests will have to provide passport details and a credit card for any extras, which will include any additional food and beverages you may order at any time, including during WYS lunches.
Is the booking at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort "all inclusive" ?
No, it only includes breakfasts — but the rate for the room and breakfast is the same whether the room is occupied by one or two persons. WYS lunches are to be booked separately through WYS. Of course it is always possible for participants to have dinner or lunch at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort independently from participation in WYS. Please note that you will have to provide passport details and a credit card for any extras, which will include any additional food and beverages you may order at any time, including during WYS lunches.
WYS FOOD & BEVERAGE
As a Visitor or Participant with a company, am I automatically registered for lunches at WYS ?
No, you’re not. It is up to you to decide if you want to have optional lunch on location or prefer to arrange your own. When registering you’ll be asked to fill in a form where you need to indicate if you’re having lunch at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort Tuesday and/or Wednesday and/or Thursday. Each lunch is 75€ (VAT included). You will have to reserve your lunch and pay for the days booked together with your registration.
Please note that availability is limited and that no-shows will not be reimbursed. You may however book additional lunches (subject to remaining availability) up to two weeks before the event.

I have special dietary requirements. Are these taken into account ?
Yes of course. When you receive confirmation of your registration, you will be asked to fill in a form that includes such details.
ACCESS
How do I access the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort during WYS ?
There is a car park on site and a public car park just opposite. There are also intra-Monaco public buses with stops in front of Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.
How do I access the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort for the Opening Cocktail Party ?
As the Opening Cocktail party takes place on WYS site, it is up to each participant to make their way to the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.
How do I access Yacht Club de Monaco for the Closing Evening Party ?
Yacht Club de Monaco has a valet parking service for participants coming with their own car. WYS has arranged for return bus shuttles between Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and Yacht Club de Monaco for all other guests. Participants staying at other hotels will have to make their way to Yacht Club de Monaco on their own.
How do I access Salle Empire for the Gala Dinner ?
Salle Empire is located on Casino Square, within Hôtel de Paris premises. Hôtel de Paris has a valet parking service for participants coming with their own car. WYS has arranged for return bus shuttles between Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and Hôtel de Paris for all other guests. Participants staying at other hotels will have to make their way to Hôtel de Paris on their own.
SOCIAL EVENTS
As an individual Delegate or participant with a company, am I automatically registered for social events at WYS ?
Visitors having Delegate Packs are not registered to attend the social events taking place in the evenings throughout WYS. Only participants who have registered Full Packs with a company, are Partner representatives or individuals with VIP Packs can take part in social events. For Full Packs attendees, both participants will be able to attend the Opening Cocktail Party at Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, the Gala Dinner at Salle Empire, and the Closing Evening Party at Yacht Club de Monaco
Are social events included with VIP Packs ?
Yes they are – for all three evenings, including Gala Dinner. However, please note that there is no refund if you decide not to attend some of the social events as we do not have any overbookings.

Can there be more than one person from the same company attending the Gala Dinner ?
Having more guests is only possible if your company is a Partner (see the Partner Pack presentation) or purchases multiple Full Packs to have more attendees.
